Focus for children with special needs is to mainstream them and keep them close to regular children , so that they are not deprived of their legitimate rights and are able to enjoy all the opportunities like their regular friends.
• Between 20% - 25% of children with Additional Needs in each class.
• Individual Educational Plan for each based on his/her cognitive and physical ability. (I.E.P)
• Children with Additional Needs work in their classrooms with a co- teacher or special educator till class VI then become part of -

NIOS

OBE - Open basic Education – Slow learners prepare for levels III/IV/VII equivalent to classes II/IV/VII of Sarva Shiksha Abiyan. The accredited centre is the Indian Institute Of Cerebral Palsy.

NIOS- National Institute of Open School . Two batches have completed class X level examinations.

ASDAN- This qualification embraces the development of personal, social, health, moral,citizenship and ICT skills which also encompass the development of independent skills which prepare the candidate for life.

LIFE SKILLS PROGRAMME- Printing, silk screen printing and cooking in a separate skill training unit is provided.
